Since october 2010, when the Peruvian Consumer Protection Code entered in force, consumer protection has become a practice area of growing importance. In fact, INDECOPI (the Peruvian organism in charge of solving consumer queries) addressed more than 31,000 queries and 15,000 claims in 2013.
