Three years after it first started operating in Peru, ONTIER is now adding two more legal disciplines to its service portfolio in the country: Regulatory and IP Law, headed by Jorge Baca-Álvarez, and Corporate Governance, Data Protection and Compliance, headed by Antoni Bosch.
Yessenia Paredes, Partner and General Manager at ONTIER Peru, notes that the rapid growth is encouraging them to keep adding new areas to the firm's service portfolio, including Energy Law. 'We find this area especially interesting given the available resources in the country, and I believe we should start implementing it. It's something we can see happening in the near future, probably this year, even though we don't have a specific date yet, but it could happen in the first semester' explains Paredes.
Paredes also explained that the firm is expecting an annual turnover of $2 million. 'We started with an annual turnover of $0.5 million, then thanks to the support of our traditional areas we reached $1.5 million in 2017, and in 2018 we're growing again' she noted.
